The Atlantic Sun Conference announced last Thursday, Oct. 13 that red shirt senior guard Kendrick Ray was a unanimous selection to the ASUN Men’s Basketball Preseason All-Conference Team.
In the 2015-2016 season Ray was named the ASUN Newcomer of the Year and ASUN Second Team All-Conference.
Ray played in all 31 games last year averaging 18.7 points per game, setting a KSU single-season record for points with 579 while also leading the team with 86 assists.
Ray and the Owls will host Georgia Southwestern State University in the team’s first exhibition at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4. KSU will start its regular season on the road against the University of Iowa on Friday Nov. 11.
