KSU students organize benefit concert in Kennesaw

The Joel A. Katz Music and Entertainment Business Program, also called MEBUS, will be hosting a charity concert on Dec. 1 at North River Church in Kennesaw.

“Kennesaw SoundWave” will consist of four acts performing 20-minute sets each, with DJ LastName Good spinning the latest sounds between sets. The lineup includes Crane, Stephen Day, Eddie Rascal and Maggie & Jack.

Doors open at 6 p.m. at North River Church, located at 2871 Cherokee St. in Kennesaw. The show starts at 6:30 p.m., and all ages are welcome. Admission is $5 per person.

All proceeds will go to MUST Ministries, a volunteer-driven organization that addresses the basic needs of individuals, families and children. MUST Ministries has facilities in Cobb County, Cherokee County and programs in other metro Atlanta areas.

Students from the MEBUS program have organized and produced this concert. The Joel A. Katz MEBUS Program at Kennesaw State University offers students an innovative learning experience with extensive tools to help students succeed in the entertainment industry.
