(From news reports) – This summer includes three opportunities to donate blood at Kennesaw State University.
- Monday, June 6th – KSU Center, VKSU sponsored Bloodmobile from 1 to 6 pm. To schedule an appointment, please call the VKSU office at 470-578-6700 or register online at www.redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code: ksu.
- Thursday, June 9th – Marietta Campus, Sigma Pi sponsored blood drive will be held in the Wilson Student Center Ballroom from 12 to 5 pm. To schedule an appointment, please call 1-800-RED CROSS or go to www.redcrossblood.org and use promo code: KSUM. Walk-ins are welcome but appointments receive priority.
- Tuesday, June 28th – Kennesaw Campus, VKSU sponsored blood drive will be held in the Carmichael Student Center University Rooms from 10 am to 4 pm. Walk-ins are welcome but appointments receive priority. To schedule an appointment, please call the VKSU office at 470-578-6700 or register online at www.redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code: ksu. Free pizza will be provided for all participating donors.
Please keep in mind:
- If you donated “double reds” at the April blood drive, you will not be eligible to donate until the September blood drive.
- Before donating, get a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast and lunch, and drink lots of liquids before and after your donation.
- Completing the Rapid Pass could save approximately 15 minutes of donating time.
