Kennesaw State’s men’s basketball program added another player to its roster on Wednesday when Memphis transfer Damien Wilson was deemed eligible to play immediately.

Wilson was sitting in class when KSU men’s basketball head coach Jimmy Lallathin texted him the news. “Turn up,” Wilson replied simply.

The 6-foot-7-inch, 190 pound guard made the move to KSU after two seasons at Memphis. Wilson, native of Atlanta, played in 15 games for the Tigers last season and previously attended high school basketball powerhouse Oak Hill Academy.
