It has been a great privilege to have served as photo editor for the Sentinel for the last three years. At freshman year orientation I heard about a photographer position on the newspaper. As a professional photographer running and growing my own business, obviously this peaked my interest. That same day I reached out to the Sentinel and applied for a photographer position. Lucky for me, they reached back out and hired me on as photo editor. I have met so many wonderful photographers and writers, and it has been such an honor to watch everyone’s skills grow along with them. I always knew I wanted to leave my mark on my university, and I think it was the perfect way to do it.
To the friends I’ve made along the way, thank you for being your wonderful selves, I love you. To the photographers and writers who’s skills I watched grow, keep up the good work, you’re going to do great things. Thank you for having me as a part of this wonderful team for the past three years.
