KSU names four finalists for College of the Arts dean search

Kennesaw State’s search committee for the next dean of the College of the Arts announced four finalists on Wednesday, Feb. 20, along with the schedule of each candidate’s on-campus presentations.

The search committee announced that Dr. Earnest Lamb, dean of the college of the arts, media and communication at Minnesota State University Moorhead, Dr. Steven Peters, dean of the college of fine arts at the University of Montevallo, Dr. Ayden Adler, professor of music and history at DePauw University, and Ivan Pulinkala, interim dean of the College of the Arts and professor of dance at KSU, will be holding public presentations open to all KSU faculty, staff and students.

According to an email sent to the KSU community, the finalists will present on-campus from Feb. 22 to Feb. 28 at various times and locations on the Kennesaw campus. The search committee listed each candidate with their individual presentation schedules, biographies and qualifications on the dean search website.

Each candidate’s presentations will be live-streamed at livestream.kennesaw.edu for students, faculty or staff who cannot attend.
