Best of KSU: Marietta Diner and Marlow’s Tavern

The Marietta campus voted for the Marietta Diner as the best place to go on a date.

The 4.4-star rated, classic, 24/7 diner has a large selection of food from burgers to Greek specialties, according to its website. If you and your date aren’t hungry for dinner, the diner also offers an extensive list of breakfast selections that are served all day. It is also known for its large menu of desserts.

Gus Tselios opened the Marietta Diner in 1995, and it was later featured on Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives” with Guy Fieri. It is also listed on the Food Network’s Top Places to Eat.

With its impressive menu and classic American atmosphere, the Marietta Diner will be sure to leave an impression and land you that second date.

Kennesaw campus

Marlow’s Tavern was voted as the best place to go on a date by the Kennesaw campus.

This fine-dining restaurant has a selection of sandwiches, fish plates, burgers and salads, according to its website. It also offers a wide variety of wine, beer and cocktails.

Conveniently located near Town Center Mall, Marlow’s is the perfect place to go for an intimate and romantic dinner.

Marlow’s is also the perfect spot for an afternoon brunch date. On Sundays, Marlow’s serves up a brunch buffet to enjoy with a Mimosa or Bloody Mary.

If your date lands on a Friday or Saturday evening, you and that someone special can also look forward to live music, offered from 7-10 p.m.

Not only will you be eating a good meal and impressing your date, but you will also help Marlow’s give back to the community with causes like Special Olympics Georgia, Hunger Walk and many more.
