Six Kennesaw State community members will have 10 minutes to reflect on the vision of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through his quotes, speech or actions and share how those visions have an impact on modern society. A light lunch will be served.

MLK Week Film: Accidental Courtesy: Daryl Davis, Race & America

Come enjoy a screening of the Netflix documentary that depicts musician Daryl Davis’ mission to stand against racism by befriending members of the Ku Klux Klan. Davis will be in attendance to commentate the movie and speak on its powerful message.

KSU Multicultural Student Affairs will host a discussion on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s influence on social movements and connect them to the concerns of today. Students will reflect on how they can better advocate for today’s social issues. A light lunch will be served.

“We Make Jesus Famous” is a talent show devoted to praise and worship through various types of artistic expression. The show will feature singing, spoken word, rap, dancing, poetry and other acts.
