Green Bay at Chicago 1:00
It’s been ugly for Green Bay and its second-year running back Eddie Lacy so far. I expect that run game to improve against a weak Bears defense but still come up short. It’s time for panic in Green Bay. Bears 31 Packers 28

Buffalo at Houston 1:00
The real Texans may have surfaced last week after their impressive 2-1 start. I’m still not sold on E.J. Manuel and the Bills though, and I have Houston passing its win total of last year’s dreadful season on Sunday. Texans 20 Bills 10

Tennessee at Indianapolis 1:00
A grueling opening schedule saw the Colts drop the first two games of the season before getting back on track against the Jags last week. Expect Indy to feast on a pretty weak Titans team this week. Colts 34 Titans 17

Carolina at Baltimore 1:00
The Panthers defense looks beatable this year without star defensive end Greg Hardy. The problem is the Ravens don’t have much of a running back to take advantage of Carolina’s weak run defense. I see this as a low scoring one. Panthers 13 Ravens 10

Detroit at NY Jets 1:00
The Jets have an awesome run defense, but their secondary is awful. The Lions are a pass heavy team, and they should have a lot of fun airing it out to Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate in this one. Lions 35 Jets 14

Tampa Bay at Pittsburgh 1:00
There’s just not much to say about the Bucs. They’re a terrible football team, and they may not win more than a couple games this season. This won’t be one of them. Le’Veon Bell goes for 150+. Steelers 28 Buccaneers 6

Miami at Oakland 1:00
After a great opening win for the Dolphins, they’ve looked bad the last two weeks. Ryan Tannehill’s starting job is in jeopardy, and he’s facing a Raiders defense that shut down Tom Brady last week. Oakland gets their first victory. Raiders 21 Dolphins 13

Jacksonville at San Diego 4:05
The Blake Bortles era begins Sunday in San Diego against a solid defense. I expect him to have a nice game and show some for Jags fans, but he won’t be able to do it all by himself. Chargers win with ease. Chargers 38 Jaguars 21

Philadelphia at San Francisco 4:25
The Eagles have been the comeback kids so far, but I think their luck runs out in a hostile San Francisco this week. The 49ers get back to their running game and pound it up the middle against Philly all day. 49ers 24 Eagles 17

Atlanta at Minnesota 4:25
Vikings will have no Adrian Peterson and a rookie quarterback making his first start on Sunday. Atlanta sneaks by with a closer victory than expected because of an underrated Minnesota defense. Falcons 24 Vikings 14

New Orleans at Dallas 8:30
Two teams who’ve experienced terrible play by their former first-round pick cornerbacks face off this week. This one will be a shootout won by the team that manages to get a turnover on defense. You can always count on a big Tony Romo turnover. Saints 34 Cowboys 31

MON, SEP 29
New England at Kansas City 8:30
The Patriots and Tom Brady are still looking to regain their aerial attack from years’ past. It may not come back this week, but I expect them to pull one out against a Chiefs team that isn’t as strong as they were last year. Patriots 27 Chiefs 21
