College fast food eaters wait no more! There is now a business that will deliver food to your dorm room at any time of the day.
On Jan. 14, KSU alumni Ariana Wharton and her business partner Matthew Bowman, started the new delivery service catering to all hungry students.
Owl Deliver is KSU’s largest food delivery service.
Wharton envisioned the idea for an on-campus delivery service while still a student at KSU.
“The idea came about one evening when my roommate and friends were intoxicated and hungry…The next day, I started thinking about what a great opportunity this was to not only provide a great community service, but to also start a prosperous business,” Wharton said.
There are no restrictions that come with what you can order through this new service. You can order from any establishment at any time and they will deliver it wherever you are.
There is a fee for delivery that varies per purchase price.
“Our dream is that, parents can have fresh J. Christopher delivered to their door while they are getting their children ready for school, business people arriving home late at night can have a greater choice in a delivery meal than pizza and Chinese, and potential drunk drivers can be satiated with a hot meal at their front door anytime of night to lull them off to inebriated slumber,” Wharton said.
If you have a late night craving for any of your favorite open restaurants, you are a phone call or email away from enjoying it without leaving your home.
