No suprises: KSU’s winning tradition showing face during NCAA tourney run

KSU has won national titles as an NAIA and NCAA DII program. It’s now two wins from advancing to the College World Series.

Sophomore pitcher Travis Bergen earned 26 of 27 outs as KSU shutout Alabama 1-0 in the Tallahassee Regional opener on Friday.

Coming in hot, there’s no reason to believe KSU doesn’t belong in NCAA field.

KSU begins NCAA Championship regional play Friday at Noon against Alabama.

KSU’s conference player of the year will lead the Owls into this week’s A-Sun tournament in Fort Myers, Fla.
