KSU Miracle’s Dance Marathon surpasses fundraising goal with more than $330,000

KSU Miracle hosted its annual 12-hour dance marathon on Saturday, March 24, in the Dr. Betty L. Siegel student recreation and activities center, unveiling at the end of the event that, through the past year of fundraising, it had raised $330,514.18 for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

The wake of the conflict between protesters in Charlottesville, Virginia, over the weekend, left our nation torn. This led me to wonder how people in Kennesaw would have reacted had it occurred here instead.

The Sentinel is the student newspaper of Kennesaw State University. Since 1966, The Sentinel has provided an open forum to the campus community. It is published in print monthly and online weekly.
