Taylor Swift announces her newest album “The Life of a Showgirl.”

On Aug. 12, Taylor Swift announced her 12th album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” in typical Taylor Swift fashion.

A digital countdown went off on Swift’s website at 12:12 AM ET that same day, hinting at a new album.

Swift then appeared on the New Heights podcast, hosted by her new fiancée, Travis Kelce, and his brother, Jason Kelce.

While on the podcast, Swift presented a blurred album titled “The Life of a Showgirl.” Travis Kelce repeatedly said that the album had many “bangers.”

Fans immediately went crazy for the new album. Swifties all over the world swarmed to social media, posting photos in honor of the highly anticipated album.

Even major corporations, such as Dunkin and Buffalo Wild Wings, joined the album’s hype by creating their own “The Life of a Showgirl” themed posts and memes.

Swift announced the titles of the 12 songs in the album, starting with “The Fate of Ophelia.”

“The Life of a Showgirl,” the album’s last song, will feature Swift’s close friend and beloved popstar, Sabrina Carpenter.

The album cover features the singer half-submerged in water, wearing a green sequined bikini top. Swift’s fans continue express their love for the new cover art and the photos promoting her next album.

One of the photos depict Swift as actress Elizabeth Taylor, scantily dressed as an old-fashioned showgirl with a feathered headpiece. Another photo captures the singer wearing a black bodysuit and tights, climbing over seats in a theatre.

Swift’s albums usually follow a color scheme, and “The Life of a Showgirl” is no exception.

The album will feature bright orange and mint green, colors unlike anything Swift has used before.

Swifties have already started investigating possible easter eggs that the singer may have left.

During her Eras tour, Swift’s performance showcased an orange door descending from the ceiling, which fans believed to be a hint about the next album.

Fans also noticed that Swift wore the orange bodysuit from her “Lover section of the tour on page 12 in the Eras tour book.

Speculation continues to stir around the date of the album’s release, October 3. While it may seem far-fetched to many, fans theorize that the release date is an homage to Swift’s lucky number, 13 (10th month, third day).

Swift also announced that she recorded the album in Sweden in between concerts during her Eras tour.

Taylor worked with Swedish music producers Max Martin and Shellback, with whom she has worked with before. However, Jack Antonoffwho has worked with her on her last several albums, does not appear to be involved in this one.

“The Life of a Showgirl” is set to release October 3 with a glittery bang.
