Kennesaw State men’s basketball added four new opponents to its 2025-26 non-conference schedule, including an in-state rival and first matchup.

For the first time since 2016, KSU is scheduled to face Florida A&M on Nov. 10, when coach Antoine Pettway and company make the trip to Tallahassee to take on the Rattlers at the Alfred Lawson Jr. Multipurpose Center.

The Rattlers are scheduled to return to play in Kennesaw in both 2026-27 and 2027-28, and are set to receive payout of $12,000 from KSU for the series according to the agreement finalized June 6.

The game will be the fifth installment between the two schools in men’s basketball, currently with an even 2-2 series split.

Shortly after their trip to Tallahassee, the Owls are set to return home to host Point on Nov. 12.

Point, an NAIA program located in West Point, Georgia, finished last season with 4-21 record.

The schools have met once before on the basketball court, with KSU defeating Point 88-68 in 2001.

KSU is set to payout $3,500 to Point for the game, according to an agreement also finalized on June 6.

Next of the games currently agreed upon, the Owls are set host Jackson State for the first time in the program’s history on Dec. 2, with KSU agreeing to payout $30,000 to JSU for the event.

Finally, the Owls are scheduled to host in-state foe Georgia State on Dec. 5, setting 2025-26 to be the third consecutive season in which the two programs will have met following a nearly 35-year hiatus of the matchup.

The agreement includes a scheduled return trip for the Owls to Atlanta in 2026-27 to round out the second home-and-home series between the programs since 2023.

The Owls defeated GSU in each of the previous two games, 88-77 in 2023 and 81-77 in 2024.
