On Saturday, March 31, several thousands of Kennesaw community members will stand together to promote peace in an attempt to break the world record for the world’s largest human peace sign. The event
will open at noon and will include live musical performances by Sara Crawford, Finster, Emmanual Jal and Kevin Dispain.
KSU will not only be breaking the world record, but we are also making Guinness World Record History. This will be a new category that Guinness created just for KSU.
The event is open to the whole Kennesaw community.
“Bring your friends, family, cousins, etcetera with you! If we all bring a couple of friends, we will smash the record so that no one can take it from us,” said Founder of the KSU Peace Project, Jessie Blowers.
T-shirts will be on sale for $10 and the Alumni Association is selling brick pavers starting at $150.
KSU Peace Project will be awarding a brick paver to the student organization that brings the most people to the event. The brick paver will be installed in the brick pathway around the campus green.
“I hope students will be interested in leaving a permanent peace legacy at KSU,” said Blowers.
Blowers asks those who plan to attend to please register, at no cost, at ksupeace.com, Registration will also be available at the event.
Attendees must register by 3:30 p.m., and the picture for the Guiness Book of World Records will be taken at 4:00 p.m.
