Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History
Learning the history of your town and railroads can be very amusing. At The Southern Museum in Downtown Kennesaw, student tickets are half off with a Talon Card. There are five featured exhibits plus a gift shop to buy your own small train. On a rainy or sunny day, this is a nice place to relax and learn compelling facts.
Just Kilin Time
To kill time while it is cold outside you can paint your own pottery. In the Atlanta area this is the oldest paint-your-own pottery studio around. Walk-ins are accepted for groups of six or less on the Marietta square. You can choose a mug or a plate and bring out your creative side with painting.
Escape Rooms
There are many escape rooms and they never get old. Mindscape Escape Rooms is only a four-minute drive from the Kennesaw campus. They have three different rooms to pick from and your group can be up to nine people. If you have over an hour between classes or just want a challenge then this is the perfect option.
