Celebrating Saturday football games this season is the perfect time for students to come together to cheer on our favorite university; here are seven gameday essentials to bring with you for tailgates, games and other events around campus.
Clear Bags
A highly recommended item for sporting events is a clear bag to carry all of your items. This is very crucial because a security checkpoint will only let you in with your belongings if they are in a clear bag, not a normal bookbag or purse. There are plenty of cute options to shop for, but the easiest option is to visit the Kennesaw State bookstore for your basic essentials.
Stadium Seats
Comfort is always a good thing, and sitting on the bleachers in the student section is not always the most comfortable. Stadium chairs are usually easy to find and order online, but there is always the option to purchase them from the KSU bookstore. They are easy to attach to the bleachers, so here is to having a non-aching back after enjoying a game.
Talon Card
Bringing your talon card is necessary for all events. The card holds your free ticket to the game, or can help identify you as a student. This can help the process of getting into the game much easier. Don’t forget that you can also use dining dollars to get a treat at the concession stand.
Cup Koozie
As the weather turns from hot to cool, a cup koozie is the best way to keep your hands warm while holding a cold beverage. College is a very special moment in life, so capturing it on camera is essential. Bring your phone or camera to get that picture with our mascot Scrappy the Owl or with your best friends. It is always nice to see on social media and to look back on these memories later.
Gameday Scarves
A really fun part of attending football games is dressing up and showing your spirit. An amazing touch to add to your outfit is a cute scarf to show off the team’s colors.
