The Sentinel published an article on its website on Friday, April 26, that included a source who seemed to have implicated KSU head basketball coach Amir Abdur-Rahim in a situation where he facilitated impermissible payments to a college basketball player. More than 24 hours after source Matt Norlander’s original report, he amended the original report to state that Abdur-Rahim was not directly involved in the deal and that the original statement was a miscommunication. The article has since been removed from The Sentinel’s website.
