Kennesaw State University is a hub of creativity and ambition, where students are transforming their passions into thriving businesses. Among them are two standout brands, Levert Gallery and Star6ixty7even, created by students who have turned their love for fashion and innovation into unique ventures.
These brands not only reflect the personal stories and inspirations of their founders but also highlight the entrepreneurial spirit flourishing at KSU. Take a closer look at the creative minds behind these brands and the vision driving their success.
Devon Samuels, Levert Gallery
Devon Samuels (@foreiigndevv) is currently a third-year student studying information systems. He and his cousin Brandon Samuda decided to make a clothing brand out of the mutual love of fashion and streetwear. They have been developing the idea of Levert Gallery since they were in the tenth and eleventh grade and have finally made it come to life.
Devon is an extremely creative individual. Their Instagram (@levertgallery) shows marketing and promotion that sets Levert Gallery apart from other brands.
When asked who they looked up to he stated, “We didn’t really look up to anyone, I’d say the ideas came in our head and we just brought it to life.”
Their bestselling item right now is the “45ers” zip up. It comes in an acid wash green, pink, black, blue and grey with over 500 rhinestones.
What makes Levert Gallery more than a brand for Devon is that he’s doing it with one of his best friends who also happens to be his cousin.
Kaleb Harden, Star6ixty7even
Kaleb Harden (@kalebmadethat) is currently a second-year student and is majoring in media and entertainment. He is the creator of Star6ixty7even. When explaining his process of brainstorming logos he stated he “drew an abstract 6 inside of a 7, and then received a prank call from an unknown number and said, “no way someone star sixty sevened me!”
From there he realized that he had a name for his brand.
Kaleb blends creativity and innovation. He extends his influence through his podcast, KTV, which not only showcases his unique perspective but also serves as a powerful platform to elevate and promote his personal brand. His dad is his biggest inspiration when it comes to going all the way with his dreams and making things happen.
His most notable pieces are his rebel magazine pull over set with the matching pants. He has most recently been releasing shirts with Christian sayings on them like “never too rachet to repent” and “never too gangster for grace”.
For Kaleb, it’s bigger than selling clothes because he wants to spread God’s word and he stated that this is how he shows his blessings.
