Looking to get away from the cold weather? Tinto’s Coffee House has you covered with comfortable seating indoors and plenty of outlets and USB ports. Tinto’s is 0.2 miles from campus, leaving you with less time in traffic and more time enjoying delicious coffee.
There are a variety of drinks to try including frappuccinos, macchiatos and teas all priced at under $7. Their warm waffles, paninis or pastries also make great snacks to enjoy while studying. The atmosphere is minimalistic, which makes it easy to focus and get homework done. They open at 7 a.m. Monday through Friday, making Tino’s a good place to grab a bite and work on some last-minute studying before class.
Lazy Labrador Coffee House
Lazy Labrador Coffee House is another nice study spot. With two stories of indoor seating and rocking chairs outdoors, there is more than enough room for you and your friends to grab a drink and hit the books.
Located two miles from campus, Lazy Labrador is a great place for coffee enthusiasts, as they offer a diverse selection of syrups such as coconut, Irish cream, lavender and strawberry. Every type of milk and milk alternative is available for any coffee drink imaginable. Drinks are fairly priced, with lattes ranging from about $4 to $6 and drip coffee only $2 to $3. A wide variety of bakery items are for sale such as cookies, cupcakes, muffins, scones and sweet bread.

Need a late-night pick-me-up? Look no further than Cool Beans Coffee Roasters. Just seven miles from campus and with about 12 standard roasts, you are sure to find a coffee you love without going too far. Every day they put out a new “coffee of the day,” a fan favorite for regular customers. Drinks like nitro cold brew, frappes, lattes and mochas cost no more than $6. They offer many inexpensive coffees, smoothies and pastries along with their coffee beans roasted in-house. Indoor and outdoor seating is trendy and spacious, making this a great place to relax or study.
