As baseball season approaches, the Owls gear up to compete against a wide range of new faces and old rivalries.

This will be the first time that KSU will face the University of New Orleans. With KSU as the reigning champions, this match-up should be quite the battle. The Privateers earned the third seed in the Southland Conference Tournament while also landing a 30-23 record in the 2022 season.
Continuing their homestand, the Owls welcome Long Island University from Feb. 24-26. This will also be the first-ever matchup for the pair. Last season, LIU finished 37-21.
On March 1, the Owls will travel down the road to Georgia Tech to beat their longtime rival, the Yellow Jackets. The Owls and Yellow Jackets have played 28 times previously, with GT having the upper hand advantage of winning 20 of those 28 games.
New faces, Boston College, will be hosted at The Shake from March 3-5. The Eagles ended last season 19-34.

The Owls will travel back home to go head-to-head against Michigan on March 10 for the first time. Michigan’s overall record notched 34-28 for the 2022 season.
KSU will then host UAB at Stillwell Stadium March 11-12 in hopes of adding to their 12 wins against the team before having a rematch against Michigan.

The Rutgers Knights will make its first appearance at KSU on March 15 after settling the past season with a 44-15 record.

The Owls will return home to challenge the Clemson Tigers to gain their first win against the school on March 22. Clemson has previously defeated the Owls twice. Clemson marked an overall record of 35-23 last season.
KSU continues its ASUN run against Eastern Kentucky from March 24-26 at home. The Owls will face off against the Colonels for the first time. The Colonels seek to pull out with an upset against the Owls as the team finished 38-20 in the 2022 season.
In a rematch against Mercer on March 29, KSU hopes to strengthen their winning streak as the Owls have only taken 13 out of 37 total games played against Mercer.
Jacksonville State Gamecocks will welcome the Owls into their home from March 31 to April 2 in KSU’s next ASUN matchup. KSU slightly beats out JSU with wins (19) in their 35 games against one another.
