The 2016 Star-Spangled Spectacular
From News Reports – This free, annual event on Saturday, June 25 (Rain date: Sunday, June 26) features a patriotic concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. with performances by the KSU Jazz Big Band and the KSU Summer Orchestra followed by a spectacular fireworks finale. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy pre-concert activities beginning at 4 p.m.
The Star-Spangled Spectacular is held on the Campus Green in the heart of KSU’s Kennesaw Campus. Seating on the lawn is free of charge and open to the public.
Parking for this event is also free. The recommended parking location for this event is the Central Parking Deck. Additional parking may be found in Lots A, B, C, D, E, and J. Please note: the East Parking Deck and East Parking lot will be closed to the public during this event to accommodate the fireworks display.
The concert begins at 7:30 p.m., but guests should arrive starting at 4 p.m. to enjoy pre-concert activities including games, face painting and balloon artists for kids, vendors and exhibits from the KSU community and beyond, and more. The concert and fireworks display will likely conclude between 9:45 – 10:00 p.m.
Please feel free to pack a picnic and bring coolers, blankets, chairs, and other picnic items. Grills, tents, and large tables are not permitted. A limited number of concession vendors will also be available on site for purchasing snacks and soft drinks.

May I smoke on the Campus Green?
